- This standard specifies the definition, classification, technical requirements, structural requirements, environmental adaptability requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of outdoor communication power systems (hereinafter referred to as systems). This standard applies to communication power systems that are placed in fixed outdoor locations and are composed of uninterruptible power supplies or inverters, high-frequency switching power supplies, batteries and corresponding power distribution equipment. This standard does not apply to outdoor diesel generator sets, mobile power systems mounted on vehicles and ships, and power supply systems that use natural environmental energy to generate electricity.
