Scope

This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the detection of ractopamine in animal feed. This standard is applicable to the determination of ractopamine content in compound feed, concentrated feed and additive premixed feed. The detection limit of this method is 0.5 μg/g.
