Scope

This code is applicable to the construction and acceptance of earthwork and blasting works of industrial and civil buildings. The earthwork and blasting works for the construction of special railway and highway lines in the factory area shall not only be carried out in accordance with this specification, but also comply with the provisions of special specifications. This specification does not apply to shafts, caissons and caverns. For earthworks with special geology such as collapsible loess and permafrost, relevant codes (or regulations) shall be followed.
