Scope

This standard specifies the sampling, sample preparation and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay testing methods for the detection of paralytic shellfish toxins in imported and exported shellfish and their products. This standard applies to the screening and detection of paralytic shellfish toxins in imported and exported bivalve shellfish meat, shell pillars and other edible parts.
