This standard applies to live display devices used in indoor and outdoor high-voltage electrical equipment operating in power systems with a voltage of 3kV and above and a frequency of 50Hz. The live display device is used to provide operating personnel with information on the voltage status of the main circuit where high-voltage electrical equipment is being monitored. Relying on the display of the live display device alone is not enough to prove that the system is in an uncharged state. If there is any doubt or the specified operating procedures are affected, an electroscope that meets the requirements of DL740 should also be used to test the electricity. This standard applies to both "phase identifiers" and "chain signal output units" used in conjunction with live display devices.
