Scope

This standard proposes some technical details and precautions such as the generation of test voltage, test wiring, selection of main components and test methods involved in on-site DC high voltage insulation testing, and implements the corresponding provisions of relevant national standards and DL/T 596. This standard is applicable to DC withstand voltage tests and DC leakage current tests on the insulation of high-voltage electrical equipment in substations, power plants, repair workshops, and laboratory conditions.
