Scope

This standard specifies the installation dimensions of arresters and the structure and main dimensions of line terminals. This standard applies to the installation dimensions and terminal block dimensions of lightning rods (porcelain jacket and composite jacket) with rated voltages of 5kV to 468kV for power systems and electrified railway power supply systems. This standard does not apply to surge arresters and other types of surge arresters in closed combination electrical appliances.
