Scope

This standard specifies the basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and sampling, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of fiber diameter optical analyzers. This standard applies to projection microscopy and fiber diameter optical analyzers using computer digital image processing technology with or without visual observation systems (hereinafter referred to as instruments).
