- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements and inspection methods of materials (or testing media, including magnetic suspension, dry magnetic powder, carrier liquid, contrast enhancer) used for magnetic particle testing. This standard applies to type inspection and batch inspection of detection media. This standard can also be used as the acceptance basis for user orders.
