Scope
The purpose of this standard is to define a method for evaluating the corrosion resistance of metals in outdoor accelerated corrosion tests. In this standard, the term "metal" includes metallic materials with or without corrosion protection. The outdoor accelerated corrosion test is applicable to: - organic coatings on metals; - metallic coatings (anodic or cathodic); - chemical conversion coatings; - metals and their alloys. This method is especially suitable for the optimization comparison test of the surface treatment system.
