Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of holmium oxide. This standard applies to holmium oxide produced by chemical methods, which can be used as an additive for yttrium iron or yttrium aluminum garnet to control thermonuclear reactions, and can also be used as an additive for manufacturing metal halide lamps.
