Scope

This standard specifies the terms, definitions, classifications, codes and markings, diameter and cross-sectional area, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, markings and quality certificates of cold-drawn low-carbon steel wires for concrete products. This standard applies to smooth steel wires made of hot-rolled low carbon steel disc rods as the base material and cold drawn one or more times for concrete products.
