This standard specifies the design limits for the fuel system of a pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant. This standard applies to the design of fuel systems for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, in which the fuel and cladding materials of fuel rods are limited to uranium dioxide pellets and Zr-4 alloy respectively. For other fuel and cladding materials and 300MW nuclear power plants, The fuel system design can also be implemented as a reference.
