Scope

This standard specifies the guarded hot plate method for determining the thermal conductivity of pyrotechnic charges. This part applies to the determination of the thermal conductivity of pyrotechnic powders that can be processed into plate and column samples and related materials with a thermal conductivity not greater than 1.5W/(m·K).
