Scope

This part specifies the loads and corresponding quality assurance regulations for autonomous take-off and landing UAVs that act on the body during launch and recovery. This part applies to unmanned aerial vehicles with fixed wings and adjustable wings: applicable to unmanned aerial vehicles developed, improved, modified or repurposed. This section does not apply to micro UAVs and UCAVs.
