Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the location, functions, procedures, performance, interfaces, maintenance and management of media servers in the softswitch system. This standard focuses on the processing of audio resources, and the processing of image and multimedia resources is yet to be determined. This standard applies to softswitch-based media servers.
