- This standard specifies the product classification and structure, technical requirements, experimental methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of road petroleum asphalt penetration testers (hereinafter referred to as asphalt penetration testers). This standard applies to the production and inspection of various asphalt penetrometers for measuring the penetration index of road petroleum asphalt.
