Scope

This standard applies to seamless nickel chrome used in places where the purpose is to exchange heat inside and outside the pipe, such as heat exchanger pipes and condenser pipes in the chemical and petroleum industries, and steam generator pipes for nuclear power plants. Specifies iron alloy pipes (hereinafter referred to as pipes).
