Scope

This standard specifies the model, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of automobile suspension and steering system clearance checkers (hereinafter referred to as clearance gauges). This standard applies to gap meters composed of mechanical, hydraulic systems and electrical parts, with a load-bearing mass not exceeding 13000kg.
