- This standard specifies the methods for testing the density and water absorption of lightweight coarse aggregate for structural use (hereinafter referred to as coarse aggregate). Note () This standard stipulates a method for testing the density and water absorption rate using lightweight structural coarse aggregate samples that have been allowed to absorb water for 24 hours from an absolutely dry state in order to test the quality of the structural lightweight coarse aggregate itself.
