Scope

This standard specifies stainless steel forgings (hereinafter referred to as forgings) mainly used for corrosion-resistant and high-temperature pressure vessels and their parts. However, for austenitic stainless steel forged products, it can also be applied to low-temperature pressure vessels and their parts.
