Scope

This standard specifies the size, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates of 4J58 alloy hot-rolled (forged) bars. This standard is applicable to iron-nickel fixed expansion alloys for producing precision linear rulers with good dimensional stability within changes in ambient temperature.
