Scope
This standard outlines the gravimetric and other chemical analytical methods, which have been standardized to some extent, for the determination of the average surface density of anodized or autocatalytically deposited, mechanically deposited, chemically converted, electrodeposited, hot-dip galvanized and vacuum deposited coatings. general method. The various methods are described below: - gravimetric methods for measuring the surface density of the coating by chemically or electrochemically dissolving the coating or the substrate; - analytical methods for determining the surface density of the coating by means of photometric or volumetric methods of dissolving the coating; - physical analysis method for measuring the surface density of the coating with non-destructive testing equipment. Except for the gravimetric method described in GB/T 9792, this standard does not give the measurement uncertainty of the cited methods.
