Scope

This part specifies the 24-dot matrix fonts of the G column Chinese characters in the 27484 CJK unified Chinese characters in the GB 13000 basic multilingual plane. If there is a vacancy in the G column, the T, J, K column Chinese characters will be filled. This part also specifies the CJK radicals and some CJK compatible Chinese characters in GB 13000 Basic Multilingual Plane and the fonts of radicals/components specified in GB 18030. The 24-dot matrix non-Chinese character fonts that are not specified in this part are specified in GB 5007.1 "Information Technology Chinese Character Coded Character Set (Basic Set) 24-dot Matrix Fonts". This part applies to the display equipment in the Chinese character information system, and also applies to other related equipment.
