- This standard specifies the calculation and measurement methods of fuel consumption in heat treatment production and the fuel consumption quotas of various heat treatment processes. This standard is suitable for enterprises to formulate fuel consumption quotas for heat treatment processes and implement fuel quota management. Fuel consumption for heat treatment of large castings and forgings and heating of billets and steels can be implemented with reference to this standard. Fuels in this standard refer to various gaseous fuels (natural gas, urban coal, producer gas, coke oven gas, blast furnace gas, liquefied petroleum gas, etc.), liquid fuels (light oil, heavy oil, etc.), excluding solid fuels (coal , coke, etc.).
