Scope

This standard specifies a uniform, repeatable method for evaluating the load-carrying performance of a overturning protective structure (TOPS) under static loads and specifies performance requirements for typical test pieces under such loads. This standard applies to the TOPS of small excavators (defined in GB/T 8498) with a working mass of 1000kg to 6000kg and with a swing arm.
