Scope: This standard specifies uniform calculation methods and verification test methods for the rated lifting capacity of pipelayers and wheel dozers or loaders equipped with hydraulically or mechanically operated side arms capable of swinging in the vertical plane, which appear in commercial documents. This rated capacity takes into account the limits of the hoist, tipping loads and rope coefficients. For calculated and verified capacities, use the attenuation factor to specify the rated capacity for the particular pipelayer and wheeled machine construction. This standard applies to machines whose lifting capacity is greater than 10,000N, including pipelayers specified in GB/T 8498 and ISO 7136, and tire-type bulldozers specified in GB/T 8498, GB/T 8590 and JB/T 8812 and loaders.
