Scope
This standard specifies the method for measuring the optical-to-electrical transfer functions (OECFs) of electronic still picture cameras that output digitally encoded image files. OECF is defined as the relationship between the focal plane logarithmic exposure or logarithmic brightness of the scene and the digital output signal value of an optoelectronic digital image capture system. This standard applies to black and white and color digital cameras.
