Scope
This part of GB/T 18570 specifies the on-site evaluation method for the formation of moisture on the steel surface due to water condensation before coating. This method is suitable for flat or slightly curved horizontal and vertical surfaces, not for surfaces exposed to dripping water such as rain or condensation. The lowest surface moisture (water) density detectable by this method is 4g/m2. See Chapter 8 for accurate determination of densities significantly lower than this.
