- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, inspection methods and acceptance rules of phosphating coatings on iron and steel workpieces before coating. This standard applies to the phosphating treatment of iron and steel workpieces before painting. The phosphating film formed after treatment is used as the bottom layer of the coating to enhance the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the coating film to the steel substrate and improve the coating quality of the steel workpiece.
