Scope

This standard covers stainless steel pipes (hereinafter referred to as pipes) used to transfer heat inside and outside the pipe, such as boiler superheaters, heat exchangers in the chemical and petroleum industries, condenser pipes, and catalyst pipes. Specifies the steel pipes used for etc. However, this does not apply to steel pipes for heating furnaces.
