Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the sawing efficiency and sawing fuel consumption rate of chain saws by using a special testing machine. This standard is applicable to the situation when the chainsaw cuts wood horizontally, and its sawing efficiency measurement method is also applicable to the hand-held electric chainsaw.
