- This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging and storage of solvent-based exterior wall coatings. This standard applies to solvent-based exterior wall coatings that are formulated with synthetic resin as the base material, pigments, extender pigments and various additives, and can form a smooth and thin coating after application. The coating is suitable for decoration and protection of exterior surfaces such as buildings and structures.
