- This standard specifies the technical requirements for the protective performance of medical X-ray machines (excluding C-arm X-ray machines), the protective facilities of X-ray machine rooms and the safe operation of medical X-ray diagnostic protection. This standard applies to the production and use of medical diagnostic X-ray machines. This standard does not apply to special examinations such as interventional radiology, angiography, and X-ray CT examinations.
