- This specification applies to the design of steel silos for storing grain bulk materials, which are circular in plane shape and centrally loaded and unloaded. Note: Grain bulk materials include: wheat, corn, rice, beans and grain bulk materials with similar physical characteristic parameters. This specification is applicable to circular silos with welded, spiral hemmed steel plates and bolted corrugated steel plates.
