Scope

This part of ISO 10303 specifies the application module for non-shaded surface presentation, encompassing surface colour and wireframe-style visual attributes. The following are within scope of this part of ISO 10303: — specification of visual attributes which may be assigned to curves belonging to surfaces; — selection of specific curve types for wireframe-like presentaion of surfaces; — specification of a mechanism of colour to surfaces. The following are outside the scope of this part of ISO 10303: — realistic presentation of surfaces; — scientific visualization.
