Scope

This part of ISO 16120 is applicable to wire rod of low carbon, low silicon, rimmed and rimmed substitute steel with high ductility intended for drawing and/or cold rolling. NOTE Rimmed substitute steel: continuously cast steel designed to substitute the traditional rimming steel for drawability and formability.
