Scope

This standard specifies a test method for relatively quickly determining the alkali-silica reactivity of aggregates for concrete () by a chemical method (). Note () Does not apply to artificial lightweight aggregate (coarse or fine). () Judgment in 11. does not apply to aggregates extracted from hardened concrete.
