Scope

This standard specifies that welded joints of stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, corrosion-resistant heat-resistant superalloys, and nickel and nickel alloys are tested by the direct imaging method using x-rays or gamma rays (hereinafter referred to as radiation) using industrial x-ray film. Specifies the radiographic testing method for performing this.
