Scope

This standard specifies a series of reproducible test methods for evaluating the loading characteristics of rollover protection structures (hereinafter referred to as TOPS) under static loads, as well as performance requirements for representative specimens. This standard applies to mini excavators with swing-type booms and an operating mass of 1 000 kg or more and 6 000 kg or less, as specified in JIS A 8308.
