Scope

This standard applies to electric vehicles (excluding motorcycles and motorized bicycles that use an electric motor as the prime mover) that are powered solely by an onboard battery (hereinafter referred to as the "main battery") and have a total vehicle mass of 3500 kg or less. ) Specifies the test method for determining the mileage on one charge and the AC charging power consumption rate.
