Scope

Prescribes test methods for determining the heating capacities and air flow quantities for room air conditioners and packaged terminal air conditioners equipped with means for room heating. This standard establishes a uniform method of testing for obtaining rating data; specifies test equipment for performing such tests; specifies data required and calculations to be used; and lists and defines the terms used in testing.
