Scope

This method is applicable to the determination of carbon black in nylon resins. For the pupose of process control, other methods(i.e., spectrophotometric) may be used, if shown to produce equivalent results; however, the gravimetric procedure, described in thei standard, shall be used to resolve differences that may occur between laboratories.
