Scope

This standard specifies the required criteria t test method for the boom descent control device installed on the boom-and-linda to control the falling speed in the event of a defect or breakage of the extraction circuit. This standard applies to poom lowering control devices used when cargo is handled in the backhoe section of an extraction shovel or backhoe loader.
