- Scope
- This standard specifies the shape and dimensions of the cross recess formed in the head of screw parts such as cross recessed machine screws, wood screws, and self-tapping screws, as well as the method for measuring them. Note: The H-shaped cross recess (see 3.) and Z-shaped cross recess (see 4.) specified in this standard comply with ISO 4757-1983 (Cross recesses for screws).
