Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product certification, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of expanded perlite thermal insulation products. This standard applies to expanded perlite thermal insulation products made of expanded perlite as the main component, with the addition of binders, with or without reinforcing fibers.
