This standard specifies general geometrical tolerances in three tolerance classes intended to simplify drawing instructions and to control features that do not have individual geometric tolerance indications. This standard applies primarily to features produced by removal of material. Although this can be applied to features manufactured by other processing methods, it is necessary to confirm whether the processing accuracy obtained in a normal factory is within the general geometric tolerance specified in this standard.
