Scope

The document defines terms and symbols of resistance welding equipment; the manufacturing rules that are to be applied to the resistance welding equipment; the measuring units, necessary to their designation and specification, which shall be mentioned on the rating plate; the tests that are necessary to verify the compliance of a given equipment with the requirements of this standard and that it is suitably designated.
