- Scope
- This standard specifies the definition, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of denatured fuel ethanol. This standard applies to fuel ethanol denatured by adding denaturants after starch and sugar are used as raw materials to obtain ethanol through fermentation and distillation. It can be mixed with gasoline according to the specified ratio as the fuel for ignition-type internal combustion engines used in vehicles.
