Scope

This European Standard specifies the nominal filling volumes and the nominal diameters of round open-top cans for liquid products with added gas, metal thickness not exceeding 0,49 mm nominal. Light-gauge metal containers defined by their nominal gross-lidded capacity are the subject of another European Standard.
